Season runs Nov. to May (June of we are going to Nationals)

As can be testified by many other inline roller hockey organizations and their families, tournament roller hockey is an expensive sporting activity; we however are doing our best to keep the cost down. At this time practice fees are $30.00 per month, and are paid in 3 months at a time.  Most weeks each team will do one or two hours on the floor and dry land will incorporate as much as possible. 

Tournament fees are an additional cost. Our team usually participates in one tournament each month. Costs vary from $35 to $65 per tournament; depending upon the tournament entry fee, coaches' expenses, the number of players participating. The majority of the tournaments Northern Lights participate in will require 1-3 hours driving and sometimes an overnight stay. For the past few years our teams have been using priceline.com to get our hotels, we normally get 3 stars hotels for between $40-60 per night.  Many of our families also car pool, to and from the tournaments.   We have also been promised at least one tournament in the 2009/10 season.
